PRESS RELEASE
MYGOV MALAYSIA MOBILE APP TO BE LAUNCHED NEXT MONTH
PUTRAJAYA, June 24, 2025 – The MyGOV Malaysia mobile application, the country’s single digital gateway for government services, will be launched in July 2025.
Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo said MyGOV Malaysia is part of the nation’s Government Technology (GovTech) initiative, providing Malaysians easy access to various government agencies.
“This is part of the government’s plan to transform Malaysia into a digital nation. It is only right to ensure we have a single platform where Malaysians can deal with various government agencies seamlessly,” said Gobind.
The MyGOV Malaysia mobile application will focus on seven main services – travel (passport-related matters); registration (birth and citizenship); driving (road tax and driving license); healthcare (appointments and medical records); summons; housing (land tax/assessment rates); and the Rahmah Cash Aid (Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah). More features will be added in the near future.
Gobind said MyGOV Malaysia will be integrated with MyDigital ID to better streamline access to the government services via a single, secured platform.
“Users will be able to verify their identity and access multiple services directly through the mobile application using their MyDigital ID credentials. This unified approach not only simplifies user interaction with government platforms but also underpins the broader commitment to digital inclusivity, trust, and service excellence by the Ministry of Digital,” Gobind added.
As of June 23, 2025, a total of 2,604,160 MyDigital ID registrations have been recorded. The integration of the single sign-on will be for 34 main government system applications, with more services to be included soon.
The building of MyGOV Malaysia also witnessed collaborations with the private sector, namely telecommunication companies and banking institutions, with the end goal of allowing users to access more services with ease, and in a safe and secured digital environment. The MyGOV Malaysia application will also benefit the government by optimising the cost of operating its agencies at Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) nationwide, and increase productivity, as better-informed decisions can be made through data.
“The MyGOV Malaysia app will allow Malaysians direct access to multiple services at the palm of their hands. This is part of our journey in transforming Malaysia into a digital nation, a journey that will benefit Malaysians and to ensure no one is left behind in a trusted digital environment,” Gobind added.
