LENGGONG TO BE ENLIVENED BY THE CAKNA DIGITAL CARNIVAL 2025: AN OPEN INVITATION TO THE PEOPLE OF PERAK
LENGGONG, 18 December 2025 – The Ministry of Digital, in strategic collaboration with CyberSecurity Malaysia, is pleased to invite the public, particularly residents of Lenggong, Perak, and surrounding areas to take part in the Cakna Digital Carnival 2025.
The carnival, packed with a wide range of engaging activities, is scheduled to take place over two days from 20 to 21 December 2025 at Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA, Lenggong, Perak. The event will be officially officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, the Chief Minister of Perak Darul Ridzuan, and will be attended by the top leadership of the Ministry of Digital and CyberSecurity Malaysia.
Incorporating the theme “Community with Technology,” the programme is specially organised to ensure that rural communities are able to fully benefit from digital technology in their daily lives. It is not merely about gadgets, but about how technology can simplify everyday tasks, generate additional income, and safeguard the personal data of families.
Regardless of age or background, CAKNA Digital Carnival 2025 offers something for everyone through a range of interactive activities, including:
I.Digital Business Opportunities: The Rural E-Commerce Class sessions will reveal how entrepreneurs generate income through TikTok Shop.
II.Financial Savviness: Hands-on guidance at the E-Wallet Clinic for those who wish to learn how to make cashless payments easily and securely.
III.Family Safety: A relaxed demonstration on how to identify online scams so users are not easily deceived.
IV.Free Learning Opportunities: An introduction to the Digital Rakyat Portal, a free knowledge hub offering up-to-date modules such as artificial intelligence (AI) presented in an easy-to-understand manner.
V.Engaging Activities and Attractive Prizes: To further enliven the atmosphere, the carnival will feature family-friendly activities including a Creative TikTok Competition, Interactive Digital Quizzes (Kahoot!) with exciting prizes, as well as free digital health check-ups.
The Ministry of Digital calls upon all segments of society to turn up in large numbers and seize the opportunity to gain knowledge in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
