MALAYSIAN COMPANIES SHINE AT ASEAN DIGITAL AWARDS 2026

HANOI, January 16, 2026 – Three Malaysian companies earned podium finishes at the ASEAN Digital Awards 2026, held during the ASEAN Digital Ministers Meeting (ADGMIN) 2026, showcasing the nation’s capabilities and contributions to Southeast Asia’s digital landscape.

UMCH Technology Sdn Bhd came out on top in the Private Sector category, while Innoveam Sdn Bhd was awarded bronze in the same category. Enfiniti Interactive Xperiences Sdn Bhd won the top prize (Gold) in the Digital Content category. The winners were announced during a gala dinner and prize presentation ceremony last night.

UMCH Technology’s winning ‘WeHealth’ initiative is an innovative, comprehensive, and evidence-based digital health system designed to transform chronic disease care and primary care. The project provides a platform that connects doctors and patients through a combination of mobile apps, wearables (IoT devices), and specialised portals. It was developed locally by Universiti Malaya researchers.

Innoveam’s Collaveo project is a next-generation industrial computing and 3D DataOps platform. It converges three-dimensional digital twins, real-time operational data, artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) analytics, engineering-grade simulation, and immersive extended reality (XR) into a secure, modular environment for mission-critical industries.

Enfiniti Interactive Xperiences won the hearts of the judges thanks to its creative storytelling of Dream Forest Langkawi, Malaysia’s first immersive night attraction, set within a 100-million-year-old rainforest. The project integrates advanced digital technologies with the country’s cultural heritage to deliver a large-scale, outdoor, multisensory storytelling experience.

Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo, said the achievements by the Malaysian firms were a testament to the nation’s thriving digital innovation that cuts across various industries.

“We have winners in the health, tourism and building sectors. And I know we have many more Malaysian companies that are constantly innovating, as they push the technological boundaries with new ideas and solutions to help their respective industries”, said Gobind, who is in Hanoi for the 6th ADGMIN that ends today.

“Such innovations are made possible by innovation-friendly policies and stable infrastructure. The Ministry of Digital will continue to help fuel innovation by our local researchers and creators, as their products will contribute tremendously to Malaysia’s and Southeast Asia’s digital economies.”

Gobind expressed hope that more Malaysians will continue to innovate and provide new technological solutions, turning the country into a leading digital innovation hub led by award-winning innovators.
